I hold a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive & Computational Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University.
Currently, I am a research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health investigating the neuropsychopharmacology of ketamine and other experimental therapeutics for treatment-resistant depression and suicidality.
I am interested in using computational approaches to understand how neural mechanisms give rise to subjective experiences of symptoms like pain and distress, with an emphasis on clinical translation.
I am now applying for MD-PhD training with the goal of a career as a physician-scientist.
